Yolo Rum Summer 2022 Round-Up

Summer of '22 Yolo Events

It’s been a busy summer for Yolo Rum. We’ve been busy traveling to events all over Colorado and Florida and we’re excited to tell you all about them. First, we attended the Chicken Fight food festival. It was a great event to kick off summer, try some delicious chicken from the best restaurants in Colorado, and we also got to meet some amazing people. We also threw a backstage tasting and VIP party backstage at Fiddlers Green in June with our friends Slightly Stoopid. Then we got to learn about different types of rum and cocktails from all over the world of tiki at the Hukilau event in Florida. We have a bunch more to highlight so check out today’s blog and we can’t wait to go to more events this fall! Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming events. Thanks for following us on our journey

Chicken Fight Festival - Denver

The Denver area was flooded with chicken lovers this past May 26th when DiningOut Events hosted their annual, “Chicken Fight Festival.” This celebration of all things fried chicken will have visitors sampling some exceptional tastes from around the world. Local restaurants battle it out in various competitions showcasing their authentic dishes made by your favorite chefs! The Yolo Rum team served over 1800 cocktails featuring your favorite rum.

Slightly Stoopid / 311 / Stick Figure - Fiddlers Green

The Yolo Team was back at it again on June 3rd, this time backstage at Fiddlers Green in Greenwood Village Colorado for the Slightly Stoopid / 311 / Stick Figure concert. Yolo Rum has been part of the Slightly Stoopid family for many years now and Yolo Rum Founder Uncle Phil and other Yolo representatives were on hand to serve snacks and the best rum in the world to VIPs at the event. We even gave away VIP tickets to two lucky winners and they had the time of their life that night.

The Hukilau - Pompano Beach, FL

The Hukilau event was back this year from June 9th through the 12th. The event took over the Beachcomber Resort in Pompano Beach, Florida and offered guests a chance to sample world-class cocktails made by dozens of tiki bar professionals across the globe! Yolo Rum and The Limbo Lounge (from Louisville, Kentucky) served up delicious cocktails all weekend long and educated so many guests about our Panamanian-aged rum.

"Rare" The Denver Steak Championships - Denver, Colorado

On August 18th, steak lovers from all over Colorado descended on Denver’s Sculpture Park for “RARE” The Denver Steak Championship. Some of the city’s best restaurants and Yolo Rum came together to dish up their highest quality steak bites paired perfectly with steak-worthy cocktails. Yolo Rum was ready to serve up our Yolo Yummy and more cocktails. The guest couldn’t believe how tasty rum could be and regularly came back for seconds.

We had a great time at all of these events and we hope you get a chance to check them out. In the meantime, make sure to try Yolo Rum at YoloRum.com. We think you’ll love it as much as we do! Thank you again for following us on our journey!
