Many people think that legacy is something that is reserved for only the rich and famous, but that couldn’t be any further from the truth! We all have a legacy, whether we know it or not. So what exactly is legacy? Put simply, your legacy is the impact you have on the world around you. It’s the sum of everything you’ve done in your life – your actions, your words, and even your thoughts. Over time, your legacy will become clearer and clearer; it’s like a fingerprint that you leave on the world. And just like a fingerprint, everyone’s is unique. Some people leave behind huge legacies; while others are more modest. But each one of us has the power to make an impact and leave our mark on the world. What will your legacy be?
What does legacy mean?
A person’s legacy does not need to be material; it can also include donating time and money towards making an impact on society as well as planting seeds so that those who come after you will never forget where you stand (or sit!).
Live up to your true potential
One of the saddest things in life is wasted potential. We all have the ability to do great things, but often times we don’t because we’re afraid or unsure of ourselves. Don’t let that be you. Stop playing it small and start living up to your true potential. You can do anything you put your mind to, so aim high and go for it!
You only live once and then you die
We will all die eventually, it’s inevitable. Most people try not to think about it too much because it makes our anxiety spike, and there isn’t much we could do about it anyways! To help ease the stress of waking up and not knowing if this day could possibly be your last, try and find meaning in time that you are here on this earth. Give yourself permission and the freedom to do the things that are most important, like taking time for yourself away from work or school, and spending quality time with the ones you love. So, get to living, because you only live once.
You want to be remembered for what you’ve done, and more importantly, who you’ve helped along the way. Live your life with the end in mind so that when it is your time to go, you can rest assured knowing that everything you worked for will continue on through the people and the things that you left behind.
