Yolo Rum Gold Wins Gold in 2017 Spirits Tasting Competition at 74th Annual WSWA

No stranger to industry expositions and competitions, Yolo Rum has received multiple Best-of-Class wins from Spirits of the Americas, won multiple gold medals at the Denver International Spirits Competition and taken home more gold medals at the Miami Rum Renaissance Festival. Now Yolo Rum Gold adds another medal to the trophy case.  This past weekend at the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) 74th Annual Convention and Exposition, Yolo Rum Gold was honored to have won a gold medal in the 2017 Spirits Tasting Competition held at the Grande Lakes Orlando Resort Hotel in Orlando, Florida.  The 2017 WSWA Spirits Tasting Competition was judged by independent industry experts organized by The Tasting Panel Magazine, The Somm Journal, and The Clever Root. Tony Abou-Ganim of The Modern Mixologist, serves as Competition Executive Director and Emcee.  WSWA is the trade association representing United States wine and spirits wholesalers. Its mission is to further the interests of its members through representation before Congress, courts, regulatory bodies, executive agencies and more. WSWA also provides lobbying at the state and federal level, public affairs initiatives, and networking opportunities for its membership.
