Come in from the cold and warm up with this delicious hot chocolate recipe spiked with Yolo Rum! A wonderful drink to enjoy on a cold winter’s night!

This classic decadent cold weather drink is always an amazing treat, and only gets better with Yolo Rum! Give your hot chocolate that extra kick with the following recipe!

STEPS

STEP 1

Pour milk into a deep saucepan and bring to a simmer

STEP 2

Add chocolate chips, stir until melted

STEP 3

Add cinnamon, honey, and sugar. Stir and bring to a simmer/low boil, then remove pot from stove

STEP 4

Add vanilla and stir, then add rum and stir

STEP 5

Pour into a mug, and top with your choice of whip cream or mini marshmallows

Makes 4 servings

YOU WILL NEED

1/4 – 1/3 cup Yolo Rum Gold or Yolo Rum Silver
4 cups milk
1 1/4 cups chocolate chips
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
Whipped cream or mini marshmallows
4 mugs
Measuring utensils
A saucepan
A stove
And a spoon
